It
is our hope that by checking us out you might choose to give us the
opportunity to minister to your family.
The AWANA program is a youth program that ministers to our young
people 3 years of age through high school.
Our
hope at AWANA is that all children and youth throughout the world will
come to know, love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
The AWANA program, at Mt. View meets September through April on
Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:15 pm. We open with music in our
sanctuary and then rotate through three time periods. Each period is
about 30 minutes in length. There is a teaching period where the
lessons are taught from the Bible.
There is a period that is set aside to memorize scripture, and there
is a period where we play some pretty terrific games. Each age group
within our club will also schedule activities other than Wednesday
evenings just for fun. We have field trips, bicycle rides, roller
skating, movie nights and sleepovers. We have hay rides, Fall fairs,
Grand Prix Auto Racing, and games competition with other AWANA clubs.
We want your children to develop a lasting relationship with Jesus
Christ and to also have a great time doing this. Check out our
